About Me

I’m Karissa. A millennial mom who grew up on metal, emo, and metalcore, and the only girl among three brothers. I always knew I wanted to be a boy mom, and somehow life had a funny way of making that dream come true.

I’ve always had a deep love for animals, which led me to a professional background in veterinary medicine, and I still carry that compassion and care into everything I do. I also love to sing even if I’ve always been a little too shy to chase that dream out loud. While I’m naturally introverted, motherhood has gently (and sometimes not so gently) pushed me out of my comfort zone.

Boy Mom

Raising boys is loud, messy, and full of non-stop activities, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Being a boy mom has taught me patience, flexibility, and how to embrace the chaos while finding joy in the everyday moments that matter most.

Fire Wife

Being married to a firefighter means long shifts, unpredictable schedules, and learning how to hold down the fort solo more often than not. It’s a unique experience that I hope helps others like me feel some solidarity.

My content creation is rooted in real life. Focused on storytelling, authenticity, and creating content that feels like it came from a trusted mom friend, not an ad.
